In 2008, Railroute Ltd approached Rombus with a very unusual problem, they had designed the only map to show every railway station and every train operator in Great Britain. There are over 2400 stations and they were interested in developing a website and an interactive version of the map.

Rombus took on the task and the results can be seen at www.railroute.co.uk

The map and the website is constantly changing to reflect new stations, changing train operators and many other alterations. We are confident that the information given on Railroute is 99.9% accurate and up to date.

To date the Railroute map has been adopted by several major train operators such as East Coast Trains, First Capital Connect and Great Western.

The national rail ticket sales website, www.thetrainline.com has recently agreed to use the map on its website in the very near future. An app for iphones, ipads and smartphones is currently being developed and will be ready for release by the end of 2011.
